I was just scrolling through my Steam library and spotted Alpaca Stacka – a game I have never heard of before now, and have absolutely no idea where I got it from. It looked cute, and had some achievements to unlock, so I installed it (495MB) and was 100% finished in 5 minutes.
You play as an alpaca, clearly stranded on an island with a hen and her 5 AWOL chicks. You are tasked with hunting them down and carrying them home. Once recovered, you all have a good time, presumably waiting to be rescued from your Castaway state before the young chicks develop a taste for alpaca meat.
I’m guessing this is one of the many “My First Game” projects that appear on Steam now and then. Usually they’re free and are designed to test the developers and possibly build a small audience as you progress in larger development. It looks cute, so I approve!
